to fast on Thursday November
2, 2000 to show our support for Al-Aqsa Mosque

Over one billion Muslims worldwide including over 6
millions American Muslims are asked to fast on November 2, 2000 in
solidarity with the people of Palestine. The campaign to rally the
Muslims to this call has started 2 days ago. Major TV and Ratio
stations, newspapers, online services, and various Muslim organizations
worldwide have been contacted. The following is the latest
email sent.

As another way to show our solidarity with the people of
Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa mosque, we are asking all Muslims
worldwide to fast on Thursday November 2, 2000. Please
participate and forward this email to as many Muslims friends and
organizations worldwide as you can. Please notify mosques and/or
Islamic centers in your area. Ask your Imam to include it in his
Friday Khotbah and announcements. You can also help us reach more
Muslims by contacting newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and any other
mass media outlets. If you have a web page, please post a notice for
this call to fast. Another way to help, Is to post the date of the fast (Thursday
November 2, 2000) on online message boards and discuss it In Islamic chat
rooms.
